Gift through your will
Leave a bequest
Remember The Peace Foundation in your Will.
When you write your will, you have a unique opportunity to leave a legacy for a peaceful future.
Making a Will. Doesn’t sound exciting, does it?
But if you’ve been cheered by The Peace Foundation’s work teaching children peer mediation in schools, training families in peaceful communication, and spearheading Auckland as a peace city – to create a peaceful Aotearoa NZ - why stop?
A gift in your Will means you’ll still be standing up for peace in Aotearoa NZ and across our world. We are on the cusp of taking peaceful conflict resolution to every school in New Zealand and then overseas, and we value your support to make this happen, allowing communities to thrive, even when you’re gone.
So go on, be a changemaker for Peace. Remember The Peace Foundation in your Will.
If you do decide to make this special kind of gift to The Peace Foundation, it’s important that you use our full legal name so your gift can go towards helping our work:
The Foundation for Peace Studies Aotearoa/New Zealand Incorporated
And in case it’s useful, an example of the wording you could use is below:
“I give to The Peace Foundation (The Foundation for Peace Studies Aotearoa/New Zealand Incorporated) ___% of my estate OR the rest and residue of my estate OR the sum of $_____ for its general purposes free of probate and estate duties payable upon or in consequence of my death. I declare that the receipt of its Executive Director, Treasurer or other authorised officer shall be sufficient discharge to my executors.”
